GPIO

Hi,

I just noticed GPIO has been added as a potential trigger source. Nothing about that in the release notes, afaik.
I'm not well versed in that kind of stuff, so my question may be completely dumb, but does that mean you intend to allow users to use something like a sub-d port to use various kind of sensors/remote/contacts to act as triggers ?

This is for the Trigger port on the Sapphire Touch and Tiger Touch II consoles, the ΒΌ inch jack socket on the back. The trigger is activated by closing the circuit which makes it simple to implement without any complicated electronics. The function was added quite late so unfortunately did not get documented. I am not aware of any plans to expand this to any other ports.

This is a nice new feature !
(Provided I get all of this correctly, fitting future desk models with a 'triggers enabled' d-sub connector would allow more than one contact trigger - well know 'kompetitor' offer this even on the back of their pc wing...)
For now, I have to try my old footswitch :-)

Thanks for your reply.
