online courses

Postby ssb3883 » 05 Jan 2010, 10:10

Hi
I am working as freelancer designer for last 7 years. I know wat I know about pearl is more than basics but nothing in comparison to what pearl can offer to do. I checked out all workshops and courses on site. But due financial restriction not possible for me to joincourses or workshop in london. But I very much keen to learn about pearl. Are there any online courses from Avolite. Thank you

Hi,

We have just finished recording some online tutorials for the Classic Pearl software, which can be found on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p ... 82706A5799

We are in the process of recording Titan tutorials and dimmer tutorials which will also be uploaded to YouTube. If you have any further questions about the Pearl after watching these videos please contact either myself or our Technical Support department.

Thanks,
Emma Thompson

We have just finished recording art2000 videos, they are in the process of being edited. Next up will be theatrestack, and then we'll be doing some on Titan for Tiger Touch and Expert.

Great thread and an interesting topic!

Are there any plans to do any tutorials on Azure or the visualiser (please)?

Hey,

There is already a whole load of Azure tutorials up on our website:

http://www.avolites.org.uk/products/azure2000.htm

For vis, the only training material at the moment is the manual and quick start guide you can download from our downloads page. It's more of a priority for us to get Titan done first, then topics like vis will be covered :)

We have just done the videos for V4 and some key V3 features, Aziz is currently putting the finishing touches to them, and they'll be up on our YouTube page shortly!

Thanks Emma!

Sorry for wasting your time. I had another look and found the Azure2000 vids for myself here http://www.avolites.org.uk/products/training/Azure_TV/index.html and was going to tell you not to worry but you beat me to it!

Regards,
Peter

Either try reducing the quality to minimum or download it.

To download there are loads of services where you copy/paste the url. Google 'download youtube'. To watch flv's I recommend VLC which is free, small and available on most platforms.
