Pro, Cons and Limitations of Midi over USB with T2 and other AVO products

Hi gang,

I wanted to know people's experience with operating and programming a show using a USB MIDI controller, i.e un-mappable parameters, limitations, general issues and anything that might pose a problem. Feel free also to highlight any pros, as I am getting conflicting information from various sources.
