Is this a simulator of the Avolites consoles? that is can I use it to learn the console and program a show file offline? Or do I need some hardware (Titan One dongle or whatever) to get it to do anything useful?
I have loaded the Tiger Touch panel in the virtual panel, but it doesn't seem to do much - I can move the faders and when I click Patch button the red light comes on but clicking on Fixture or Dimmer doesn't do anything. The display part is blank. Pressing Fixture does not do anything, although the button seems to depress.
I have another window, 'touch display' all in grey, in which I managed to get into patch mode, search for fixtures (Martin-Viper) and patch them but now can't seem to get out of patch mode back to some sort of "live" mode.
The manual mentions pressing the Locate button to control fixtures - but I can see that in the 'touch display' window and in the tiger touch panel it does not do anything.
I have used an actual Tiger Touch console once before but this PC software has me really confused as to how its supposed to work. Any clues or pointers to getting started documentation would be welcome - thanks.
Hardware is Dell XPS 13 running Windows 10 Build 16299

If you are running Titan Simulator v12 or later you will require an AvoKey (hardware security USB) connected (T1, T2, T3 and newer Titan Mobiles have this built-in). Older versions such as v11.4 could be unlocked with a software licence online. Titan Simulator will output an occasional DMX spoiler (random DMX values) however it will allow you preprogram all DMX lines and not be limited to 1 or 2 lines in the case of the T1 and T2 respectively.
The Virtual Panel emulates the physical buttons and faders of the real console so buttons like Exit (to exit menus like Patch) and Locate would appear on that.
If you don't need the Tiger Touch layout you might be better selecting the Titan Go (previously TitanOne) option after starting Titan Simulator as it will put all the hardware buttons in the same window as the main interface meaning that you don't have to switch between them all the time.
