Slight revision of the Group legend menu:

Adjustment of the way this menu works to bring it in line with the Palette menu. ie. remain on group after apply.

Ideally it would also be possible to store/delete/legend directly through this menu as proposed for the palette menu.

Ok. I have successfully compliled a wish-list. In the process some posts have been edited/combined or deleted. Most of deletion was offtopic/discussion and a few that were just too far-fetched (though I have detailed a couple at the end of the list). More details in the main post. Hope that's useful!

Just been wading through old mails pending a rationalisation of the wish-list and it turns out this had already been discussed, although more with regard to Store Palette, which (wrongly IMO) insists on only storing by selected attribute.

I understand what you are saying, but you can't just change something like this. People will just as likely use this deliberately and most importantly expect it to do so. That is why I suggest a user option.

I can't say about the Sapphire, but this would surely have to be a user option since many users would expect to be able to recall by focus mask regardless of method (ie. add button/numeric/legend)?

Palettes are recalled according to focus mask. This is deliberate and allows the overlaying of attributes with the ability to only recall one. Selecting dimmer will recall all.

Other than the user settings, a common reason for 1 sec delay is after a programming session. This seems especially noticeable after using palettes to edit/build chases through 'unfold'. I am fairly sure the 'save as shared?' option won't be available yet on the Sapphire.
Quick palettes will recall all information stored (depending on focus mask) unless you select fixtures, in which case it reverts to the normal method.

The following might not be 100% useful as I can only base on Pearl 2004 soft, but in an attempt to help... There is a limit of 200 palettes. This I'm fairly sure will be the same. In personalities, the palette information is stored under PFTABLE and should be easy to edit. Personally I wouldn't both...
