I haven't used it extensively but parking 3 universes without step pauses worked just fine.
Thank you Greg, this is a brilliant tool when coming to a festival and you quickly want to unpatch your whole template file before you start patching in the house rig

Re: Park patched fixtures macro
I tried to code a macor for that at some point and have gotten nowhere. Maybe if Greg reads this he might have an idea on how to solve this.

Re: Open Window button on Desks
Gotcha, thought you were talking about those other ones.
Additionally to what Seb said you can record macros of 'Open X Enter' which you can copy to pretty much anywhere on the console. On some workspaces I have a strip of macros on the side that do just that

Re: Open Window button on Desks
No, I don't think there is a way to do this. Also I'd advise NOT to use "fxtures and playbacks" and "groups and palettes" workspaces. They are compatibility workspaces to get the faders and buttons of a Pearl Expert shown on the touch screen and move them around (especially when ...

Re: Is this possible (coded macro)
You need to set the ContextAttribute right.
I have read out a recorded macro once and use
which works just fine.
1=Intensity, 2=Position, 4=Colour, 8=Gobo, 16=Beam, 32=Effect, 64=Special, 128=Shapes

Menu.InjectInput("OnSelect","AttributeGroup","NoGroup",1)

Re: Stars generator
One advantage of using the keyframe method is guaranteeing single whole pixels * although sadly if you're running 11.3 I've just been told that this may not work due to a known bug in this version... A bug that makes key frame shapes ignore a randomised fixture order by any chance? Even storing a r...

Re: Symmetrical effects
That wouldn't be a circle though Depends on the Tilt values but yes it will more likely result in an ellipsoidal form. Doesn't bother me though as I have it spinning round my proscenium arch. so you couldn't apply it around an existing position yes and no. If you set the values to the absolute maxi...

Re: Stars generator

Really? Somehow this didn't work for me when I tried something else. Setting the spread to the number of fixtures (I didn't use fixtures with cells) and direction to random gave me an ugly looking effect...

Re: Symmetrical effects
or use key frame shapes, make 2 palettes for pan only (left and right, no tilt values in the palette) and then just apply the palettes to the fixtures whichever way you want it (left half of rig start at left, right half of rig start at right etc)

Re: LTP for dimmer?
there is an option called Cross Fade HTP in playback options which turns intensity into LTP values.
I think it has to be enabled for every playback involved.
