Presumably the fixtures you have been programming are RGB (or CMY) and therefore require three channels of information to get a required colour. Odd. I've never seen that. Silly question, but I assume you have made certain that the information is not in the programmer for some reason? Does this happen even after a reset? You might need to update the AVOS before installing the 2004 software.

Neither of the above should have to be done, but is all I can think of.
