You can do this by using mode 2. Program a playback with the highest rate you would require. [Edit Times], Press playback Swop button, Toggle Softbutton G until Mode=2. This mode forces LTP channels to act as HTP and is also useful for colour wheel and gobo selection by fader. It can be used with Sh...

One of the great things about the Pearl is the flexibility in how you program. There are many ways to achieve the same end result. The way you program the console may depend on what you are using it for, ie. Touring, Theatre, Club etc. Patching is very important and cannot be changed without loosing...

What Version software are you running? - Turn key to system: Either it will be at the top of the LCD or you need to press softbutton A [Service], foll...

It is quite an intuitive board to use. If it is only you who needs to learn I suggest downloading the Pearl Simulator, Visualiser and the Demo Theatre (only way to use them together for free) and the manual and have a play. If you are reasonably experienced with other consoles, then I don't think yo...

I guess most people are using the board for lighting bands. I do some club operating and usually have no trouble getting chases to run in time, although I always do this by wheel. I never use the tap function or sound-to-light. I am fairly sure the restrictions to speed increments are essentially a ...

Why don't you download it and have a look? You can check it out with the DemoTheatre for free. It is certainly not WYSIWYG, but then it does not cost $$$$$$. It is not like that is without serious issues either, especially the awful CAD interface. Anyway, yes it provides animation of fixture movement.

Program Mode - LCD Highlight (Inverse text) for selected fixtures: When on an appropriate view, ie LCD Page 1, it would be neat to highlight the values of currently selected fixtures. When you are using a large number of handles on a page, it would be handy to see which values in the screen relate t...

Fixture override by attribute in RMT: (As suggested by MichSuS) The ability to take control of one or more attributes of a selected fixture which would take priority over any palettes or PB's. The purpose of this is much the same as for the 'remove shapes for selected fixtures in RMT', although it's...
