Excellent timing!
So to 'share' a new object - it should be emailed to you/Olie and then you will add it the Objects file in the personalities Installer for distribution.
Is that how it will work?

Andy

Not a function I have ever used...but as I understand it...it's a capture of DMX values at the time you press the button, logged by time and date. So shapes are not stored; only the Pan and Tilt levels at the time of record. Only fixtures with an active dimmer channel are recorded. When you recall a...

I don't use the TAP button, so I've not really noticed this before... The post caught my curiosity so I got out a metronome, set it to 100BPM which in a 4/4 time signature each beat will last 600ms. Tapping in sync to each beat and the chase runs at 400ms/step. WHAT? I could make it run in time to m...

Hi Olie, I've never used the graphics tablet, but I like the idea and this HR3 tablet looks like quite a cheap option; but how would one utilise the 'special' Avo functions, like the color palette? By that I mean, would one have to make an overlay showing all the positions for the Avo stuff? Would A...

Re: Personality and Shape Files
Secondly, is there a way / whats the best way of getting a bar of par cans on the simulator. yeah...easy.... Just use the 'generic' fixture (in Moving Head ), add as many as you want on your bar, address them accordingly, add a length of pipe (ie. narrow, long truss!), then rubber band the whole th...

Re: Pearl 2000 with MACs / HTP<P problem???
[quote="Extreme"] I wanted to record different positions, different colors and different effects on separate playbacks. Example: Playback 1 is position 1, PB 2 is pos 2 and so on, and for example colors red, white and blue are playbacks 13-15. I also did two playbacks for controlling the s...

Hi Nick, I have the same problem and have done since updating to V7.0 (on XP SP2) But having said that, I don't think full rendering was ever fully implemented. And I seem to remember that on the Vis 6.11, it didn't work very well (because it wasn't fully implemented - possibly!). Perhaps Avo Softwa...

Thats sounds like an option, but there is a way to get the lock undon. I have a key always with me I keep them with my house keys. Maybe there's an option to make something in the software (what already happened) but then ellimanating the reset button. If you are THAT concerned , why not....unscrew...
