Oh ok. That's a shame. The workflow I normally use in regards to workspaces is inhave groups colours beams etc. Then have The shape library and shapes & effects Windows so I can build a whole cue in just a few button presses. I haven't tried it yet but I'm presuming I can just save the maskFX sh...

Er yes. I forgot the exact terminology that the options gives you. But if it's set to zero the preset levels when they are moved it works as normal.

Thanks for the reply. I did also figure out that if you change the clear mode to 'zero preset levels' or whatever the exact terminology is. Well I've done exactly the steps you mention in v11.4 and in beta 51. And you are absolutely correct. The shapes are fading out in both which mystifies me. I'm starting to doubt my own sanity now. I swear I've never seen this before.

I know it worked fine in 11.3. One of my quartz consoles is running 11.4 I'll run that up later on and try it on there but from memory I would say its ok on 11.4 too but I will confirm this later. Confirmed with 3 different show files. If you still haven't moved off from the cue with the shape in it works normally. Once you re-trigger the cue it fades off when the fader is bought down. If the shape is tracked. (ie you are not on the cue the shape originates from) it fades out by whatever time...

Just thought of another little nugget of information in reference to this. All the cues were recorded in channel mode, in general I tend to only record in fixture mode directly after a block cue. And wherever any extra cue data was merged over the top afterwards the update mode was set to forwards, ...
