Hey all, I'm wondering if I can hook up my pearl 2k to the vis/sim programs. I have an oldskool pearl 2k with the Large type serial connection for Graphics tablet/stage remote. I am thinking of getting the Macbook and using the RS232 to USB. Is there an adaptor to enable me to hook up with my desk?

Would this also work on my pearl 2k? Would this require a seperate adaptor for my serial port?

I'm running a pearl 2k rolacue with 2004 software. I know I can label with set legend and the PF add/swop. I'm wondering if there is a way to connect an external keyboard and there seems to be no port. Any suggestions.

Thanks for the personalities, Ed. I'm still unsure as to how I will control the scrollers. For instance, will I be able to set each frame as a preset focus, a memory, a pallette, on a fader? What are the optons?

I am planning on using color scrollers (hopefully Colorram IIs) with my Pearl 2000 (running 2004 software) and am curious as to how I can control them. This could greatly impact my placement of colors on the gel string. Can anyone offer me any insight?
