Unfortunately, this is indeed the case. Due to changes required for Titan the physical DMX ports on the Pearl Expert will no longer work in Classic mode. As an alternative you can use Art-Net to output in Classic mode.

Can you do a New Show with Wipe DMX Settings turned on. Then check in DMX Settings that DMX Output A is assigned. Then patch 10 dimmers and check if you get any output. If you have a DMX tester that would be best or if you have a simple LED fixture and plug it directly into the dongle.

On the Tiger Touch Pro, the UPS panel is used to secure the software. If the UPS panel is disconnected, disabled or put into boot mode you will not be able to run the software until it is reconnected. Virtual dimmer has been added to the RGB and RGBAW modes of the StageBar 54, this should be available to download from the website tomorrow.

The instructions for installing Pearl 2004 Simulator on Windows 7 can be found here. I haven't checked myself but I would expect the same instructions will work for Windows 8.

Make sure that you plug in your TitanOne before starting the software. Once the software has started check the indicator at the top of the screen about 2/3 the way across which should show Titan One but will show Offline if the software is in simulator mode with the spoiler.
