What version of software are you using? In the latest version there are separate Flash in and out times in addition to the playback fade in and out times. That might help you achieve what you want.

'Level Matching' is intentional on consoles without motorised faders. Otherwise the playback would snap in at full as soon as you nudged the fader and you wouldn't have any control. Generally this isn't considered desirable.

You want the 'Record By Channel' mode. Then only things you touched since pressing clear will be recorded. Have a look at section 8 in the manual, page 181.

Check you have the latest software (V10.1) and the latest DMX firmware on you mobile. (USB Expert Console and see if there are updates available).
