Re: Executor buttons

I still can't work out how I create a cue list that contains two macros (not required now as I have the toggle version macro but would still like to know how to do it ) as when I start to record a cue list I cant work out how to add the macros? Once you have created a cuelist with two empty cues, o...

Re: Titan Remote App v12 on Android

The minimum version of Android to support Titan Remove V12 is Android 9. Hardware will need to be able to be running this version of Android in order to be able to use the app.

Best,

Re: TT2 v12 / B-Eye K10 weirdness.

Hi everyone, Thanks for reporting this. This sounds very much like it could be a known firmware issue affecting certain DMX output cards (TT2, Arena, Sapphire Touch) in V12.0 which will be resolved in a V12.1 release coming very soon. The firmware error is triggered by the channel spacing of the fix...

Re: Palettes not working/frozen

This sounds like it would be worth opening a help-desk ticket at https://www.avolites.com/software/help-desk being sure to attach your showfile and describing which palettes appear to be broken, what you're expecting to see, and what you're actually seeing.

Re: Titan Remote V11 problems

Did you follow the steps described in the FAQ for the Android Remote? There's a bug in Android which makes this necessary at the moment, unfortunately.

Re: Titan One and Frequent Light Flicker

Not a solution I'm afraid but for what it's worth I've also experienced this using these fixtures. I haven't been able to try them with another DMX source to determine whether it's an intrinsic problem with the lights.

If you're using V12 you can reduce the system render rate which might help.

Re: MIDI not detected

I'm not sure I fully understand, but there are no special extra pieces of software required to make Windows (DirectX) MIDI work with T2; simply install the PC Suite and the drivers for your MIDI device and (as long as the device is compatible with Windows DirectX MIDI) it should work with no extra p...

Re: Active Playbacks

Just as a quick note, [Release] [Release] releases all playbacks at the current release priority or lower (see the priority softkey in the Release menu) - so to prevent everything from going dark you could have recorded a (e.g.) Very High priority playback with some lights in it then used [Release] ...

On the question of handles staying visible when you change page, please investigate the Handle Paging options (See section 8.6.2 of the Titan V12.0 manual).

Re: MIDI not detected

Osimidi does not use an official interface to Titan; not only do we recommend against users using it, we provide no support for it as it could cause instability in Titan up to and including application crashes. Users wanting MIDI input using any Windows DirectX MIDI device (including USB MIDI and Ne...

Re: Timecode Issue

If you have the user setting TImecode > Kill Out Of Range Playbacks enabled, receiving timecode values which are before the first timecode value you have assigned to a cue in the cuelist will result in the cuelist being killed. This sounds like what's happening here. Try inserting a cue at the begin...

Re: Titan Remote V11 problems

We've used a number of the showfiles we've been sent to try and improve the reliability of the remote. There will be a new version of the remote released alongside the upcoming release of Titan V12, which will include a number of the fixes we've been able to implement. We expect that this will signi...

Re: keyframe shapes act as chase (wait for go)

Yeah, that part was the reasons I wanted to step through the frames manualy, because it is a live band and they don't always stick to the same tempo. With a BPM master assigned to the keyframe shape, adjusting the BPM master to match the tempo du jour selected by the band will allow you to easily m...

Re: Tiger Touch II date/time and licence problem

Sounds like the motherboard CMOS battery that maintains BIOS settings, including the date & time, might be flat. Replacement on a TT2 is if I recall a standard CR2032 (check what's fitted at present and replace like-for-like).

Re: keyframe shapes act as chase (wait for go)

No, a keyframeshape cannot be made to wait for go.

I would recommend using a BPM master to modify the rate of the effect if you want to proceed using a keyframe shape.
