I just tried and all seemed ok. I sent email from this page and automatic response with pincode and link was received immediately. Link sent me to download page with password & clicking on the actual program link opened file dialog. I did not go any further as I already have installed! Was this ...

Took me a while to figure it out too. For all their benefits these movers have just as many annoyances (when they work!) I always 'under-hang' now and work everything else around. Note that it is also, to my knowledge, impossible to to have movers on the deck and in the truss (ie inverted) move in t...

That's a bit strange! Unless the shape or pattern has changed in the shape file I can only think it was to do with fixture orientation. The shape is based on a Sin wave, with the P & T 90degrees out of phase. Moving mirrors will always do the shape as expected, but heads might not. eg. If you mo...

Oh dear! Doesn't sound too good. The only thing I can think of is to disconnect all the ribbons that connect the fader boards to the analogue board and see if the board still crashes. Given that the damage should only have occured to the top of the desk maybe you can then eliminate which of the fade...

Much as this would be nice, I think this really is the stuff of dreams (or at least of a D4!), regardless of how it might be implemented or how incredibly confusing it would be. IMO it is most important that chase speed/accuracy as well as button press response times are maintained and, as I pointed...

I was simply pointing out that there is not really any difference between the 2000 and 2004 simulator.

Yes I know WYSIWYG and as I said, no, you cannot use it with Pearl Simulator!

Why do you want 2000 simulator? The software was an early version of that now released as the 2004 builds, so there is very little difference except for the graphics.

You currently cannot use the simulator with WYSIWYG

@Padster: The big problem with using PB level to control speeds etc is that they also will be controlling HTP level. So, either you will end up with slow-dim or fast-bright. It might be useful for LTP only chases, but when I think about it all the chases I need to connect to/alter speed, they are al...

You could use an overlay to do this. I designed one for use with A3 acetate, though assuming it will be used on desks with stuff already labelled you could use paper. It is in CorelDraw format, the idea being that you can neatly print complete with splodges, dots, pictures, even colours if you have ...

Sorry. I forgot about that!

I agree with Iadwm - I always set all the attributes of all my fixtures to fading using the Patch Utilities.

Editing Personalities avoids this extra button pressing but cannot be done without losing any programmed data for those fixtures.

Nice! I will try and repeat. The ability to use the Add button to step through unlinked parts of chases is correct and they do not need to be connected. I found different problems related to this a while back: The Add button does not work in this manner if you are in the Moving Light (1 & 2), Fo...

Ooops. Scratch that. The dangers of not enough sleep and not being near a console... You can invert any attribute using the Patch Utilities/Invert function inconjunction with the relevant attribute button. The time I realised this was during a changeover whilst attempting to 'flip' the P/T positions...

The only attributes you can invert within the desk are Pan/Tilt You could edit the personality which has an invert function. On the appropriate line, where you see an 'N', replace with an 'I'. I have never tried this but it should work! You may need to alter the values used for locate at the same ti...
