Maybe someone tampered with the display settings in windows? The best way to rectify this is to run a recovery (if you don't see it at all). If you can see something it is somewhere in Tools -> Control Panel -> More -> Display settings or so. (It is the colour/contrast setting of the intel gpu driver)
