Atomic 3K issues
I had a some Atomics set up on playbacks - grouped intensities and duration and separate rates. All in mode 2. Quite randomly, the rate's would 'stick' on a value. I would have to select the fixture and wheel it to zero to clear it. Then after a bit it would happen again for a different value. Anyon...

Hi Mark, One of those eternal questions... There are only two options aren't there? 1) Re-label every time 2) Tape over For what it's worth.... I took a photocopy of the picture (of the desk) from the owners manual. And write down the patch on the picture. Makes for very easy re-labeling Helps to ke...

Thanks for the PDF Galaxy, made things a bit easier! I always prefer to look at pictures (?). I've had an intensive go at Vis, which is why there are a few posts from me LOL! So why do the old (ie the numeric) gobo's come back, after I have closed and then re-open Vis? My edited .vis comes back into...

Vis wish
Has anyone suggested starting a Vis wish list?
The main thing I would like, is a <print screen> without the black background.
I've tried using the regular <PrtScr> and getting that image into Photoshop, to change the background.......but I didn't work.
Regards,
Andy

Or you could set the attribute to FADE via SET/RESET INSTANT MODE. Select fixture/s - select PATCH - select PATCH UTILITIES(soft F) select SET/RESET INSTANT MODE (soft B). Then select what attribute you want to change from the attribute bank buttons. The LCD will display selectable options. Pressing...

Eskimak, it's not a foolish question at all - I asked the same thing when I first started using Pearl. And the answer was the same then as it is now and has been previously stated. By making full use of palette's you can 'free up' playbacks. Don't forget you can put ANY attribute into a palette- str...

I understand what your saying Dan...it's not exactly 'linear' is it? But I agree with Nic that it shouldn't be a problem, have you tried chases running in half time ? I.E. if the track is 120BPM then the chase tempo is 60. Or a chase step on 1st beat of every bar rather than every beat This is also ...

Hi John, Just out of curiosity, did you assume that your first Pearl was at fault or do you know for sure (by having run the MIDI tests)? I had similar problems and both desk and PC were OK, but I still had to use ACDI to get them to talk. If you haven't seen it, the document below is quite useful.....

  personally, I can't wait for DMX implementation on sound console lamps..... Presumably to either keep them at zero, or to strobe them in an annoying (but creative) fashion. I'm waiting for Littlite to release the scroller.... (they do actually have an LED switchable between white and re...

Why does the desk lamp switch (Pearl 2004) have the legend "lamps", when there is only one?
