Re: LED Fixture power on values
Yes, this is the correct value to change. Factory personalities intentionally have the RGB power on at full to ensure they light when raising the intensity without needing to locate. Specifically in the Chauvet Nexus 4x4 personality you need to adjust the power on values for the attributes named 'Re...

Re: Venue Mode - Exclusive operation by non techie clients
Yes, turning off tracking for the cuelist is probably the key here. Record by fixture isn't essential but might help too. In record by channel you are recording only values that are in the programmer (ie. where they have been adjusted). Record by fixture will record all values for any fixtures that ...

Re: System software for Azure
If you go to https://www.avolites.com/software/latest-version and then search for azure in the downloads search bar it should show Azure Software July 2003. When I click on this it downloads an exe file. This is a self-extracting archive. Running this opens a dialog which will extract the files to a...

Re: Beampix 14
With the library version of the personality you should be able to control the parts independently by selecting the relevant cells of selected fixtures, either from the handles at the top of the Attribute Editor window or by unfolding the fixture(s). For example the 'RGB*' cells control just the RGB ...

Re: user libraries are not shown in patch fixtures
I can't immediately think of a reason although a fault with one or more might cause this. Log viewer might provide some clues. Feel free to send me all the personalities and I will be happy to take a look. nick <dot> morris <at> avolites <dot> com.

Re: Visualizer Setting
You can adjust the orientation of selected fixtures in the integrated Capture Visualiser by toggling the wheel mode on softkey G to 'Wheels=Visualiser' which will connect the wheels to visualiser properties. Position and orientation can be found on the position bank (pressing the position attribute ...

Re: Problem Copy Fixtures, Group and Playback
For anyone reading this the reason that seemingly unrelated fixtures were being added to groups was due to those groups being special 'type' groups that are automatically created when a fixture is patched (the 'All xxx' groups). While the group in question no longer contained any of the original fix...

Re: Problem Copy Fixtures, Group and Playback
If by 'group 3' you mean the 'Aura Group 3' and that, when copying a dimmer that is not contained in that group, the new dimmer appears in that group then that is strange. I cannot reproduce this. If I patch those fixtures, create three groups and then copy one of the dimmers the new dimmer appears ...

Re: cue lists and chaser trouble Capture.
Given it's intensity (dimmers), assuming the playback fader is raised perhaps there is something mastering it (ie. grand master)? Also you mention cue list and chaser in the subject. If you are recording a cue list you will need to press go to advance each step (including the first) after firing the...

Re: cue lists and chaser trouble Capture.
From your description this sounds like a programming issue rather than anything to do with the visualisation. Does it work in the integrated Capture Visualiser?

Re: Keep function value when attribute condition changes?
The DMX values are a 32 bit signed integer. To support I guess it either needs to be changed to an unsigned 32 bit integer or a long. In reality though I'm not sure if there is much call for it. It's hard to conceive of the need for 32 bit accuracy but maybe. I did look at the personality linked and...

Re: Recorded lights changing settings when playback lowered
If this is happening with all playbacks and it occurs when the playback is killed (ie. when it reaches zero as opposed to proportional to the fader level) then it sounds like you have the global release mask set to include the colour and position groups (and possibly others) in addition to Release T...

Re: Keep function value when attribute condition changes?
Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment, although I do appreciate where it would be useful. You can specify functions and use the function index property to make associations, for example in more recent factory personalities I set the index and middle 'no spin' of gobo rotate controls of re...
