Re: OS Compatability
People seem to have got Titan PC Suite running on Windows 10, but does anyone know when it'll be officially supported? I've just updated from Windows 8.1 to 10 (and haven't yet updated my Avo software for Titan One); I don't particularly envisage any problems, but was a bit concerned to read in the ...

Re: Invert pan/tilt on 2000-era virtual fixture banks
Marvellous, thank you for checking and demoing. I didn't realise about the flashing page key either; you learn something every day!
Thanks very much.

Invert pan/tilt on 2000-era virtual fixture banks
Hi Often I'm out on a gig, think of something to ask when I get back, and then forget about it (and/or the existence of this forum!). It's not a showstopper, so I've not mentioned it before... I use both Titan and 'older' desks back to the Pearl 2000 and Pearl Tiger; it is on the latter that this oc...

Shape slowdown
I've just been searching the forums and this thread seems the most relevant - I'm at a festival at the moment and it seems that when I've got several shapes going (pan/tilt on movers, and colour shapes on a load (~96) of LEDs) all the shapes sloooow down noticeably. It's a Pearl Expert running titan...

Mimicing/aligning/copying more than one fixture at a time
It might be easier if you patch the sunstrips and cs4s in as fixtures. If they are not in your desk cache they can be downloaded from our personality website - http://www.avolitesdownload.com/PersonalityLibrary. You will then be able to align whole fixtures. You will also have more handles availabl...

Mimicing/aligning/copying more than one fixture at a time
Hi I'm using a Pearl 2000 with 04 software. I'm aware of the ability to align fixtures, which is handy for conventional movers etc, but I find myself increasingly using units that have more than one fixture handle (and indeed fixtures) for control - for example, we've got some CS4 moving pars (4 x d...

CS4 personalities
I will try to get the updated personalities up on the website as soon as possible Thanks very much - the new personalities are fine and, although they take up loads of fixture handles (10 per unit!) allow you to use shapes on the individual heads. I used them successfully last week. Thanks Peter

Studio Due CS-4s on a Pearl
Hi If I can hijack this question because it's effectively the same thing as I'm playing with. I'm using a Pearl 2000 running 2004 software. I've got some CS-4s and a couple of custom personality files (from someone via the Blue Room) which I'm trying to tweak and make more user friendly. However, I'...

Conversely I would question how often it is actually useful to have intensity channels as LTP. I have some houselights set to this so that I can perform timed fades by palette and be certain the values will remain as set. But I can't think of many other examples other than this. One situation that ...

The fix is in the Pearl 2008 software. To install this software you requires a USB board upgrade to be fitted. Thanks for letting us know, although it's really annoying :-( I'm sure I've read somewhere on the site(s) how to do/whether your Pearl can accept a USB board, but I can't find it for now. ...

RGB shapes
Hi Related to this - I was going to start a new topic but this might have covered it. On Friday I was using some ChromaQ DB4s and cheapy LED pars and I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't use any shapes on them. It wasn't a problem for the event I was working but I resolved to ask here about RGB ...

Pearl 2004 simulator refusing to start
I wonder if it has not downloaded properly. Seems like a bit of an odd suggestion but I've downloaded it again (firefox 3), reinstalled and am still getting the same error. I would have thought the installer would have bombed out had there been an error downloading the package, anyway? I only reall...

Pearl 2004 simulator refusing to start
Hi - I've just installed the Pearl 2004 simulator on my Windows XP Home laptop without any problems but when trying to run the software I get an error: --------------------------- Pearl.exe - Application Error --------------------------- The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006).
