Re: Releasing colour back to previous colour

Just to clarify my previous comment, I use the permanently-on blue playback to get me back to blue after I use a rainbow effect (which required me to set R, G and B to 50%), and I use the additive/subtractive colour shapes to do my flashing (which avoids the original problem by not having to change ...

Re: Releasing colour back to previous colour

This problem is a real pain. If another playback was determining to colour (e.g., blue) before you 'flashed' another playback causing the colour to change (e.g. to white), then it is possible to set the release of the 'flash' playback so that after the white flash it went back to blue. This is far f...

Re: Linking BPM Masters II

All of the above. However, to avoid reinventing the wheel, I your generalise to say that it just needs a decent macro language with all the usual features, and comprehensive access to the Titan object model (including events). A native editor would be handy, but development of anything fancy would p...

Re: Linking BPM Masters II

Thanks for that. I assumed the IDs would need checking after each upgrade, even for existing shows. It's completely beyond me how backward much of the macro support is. As an ex computer programmer, I can't believe they don't use constants. Don't even get me started on often having to toggle without...

Re: Linking BPM Masters II

Hi, Thanks for the detailed reply. I hadn't thought of doing it this way. I was blinkered into thinking I had to somehow 'copy' the BPM from one to another. I've been using two BPM Masters, one for dimmer and colour and the other for pan and tilt. I have to tap both simultaneously. I have macros to ...

Linking BPM Masters II

Hi all, I'm trying to vary the speed of all of my P/T effects (in one go) in relation to the speed of my dimmer and colour effects, which are all linked to BPM Master 1. Sometimes I want them to run at the same speed, and other times I want the running at 1:4, 1:16 or even 1:64 ratios. I need to cha...

Copy global colour palette bug?

Hi, Copying a global colour palette handle does not copy the Colour1 and Colour2 (both set to Dynamic) attributes. CMYRGB attributes all copied OK. Result is that global palette no longer works for fixtures with colour wheel(s). Moving is OK. Using Titan V14 on PC. Same problem on all show files che...

Tiger Touch II screen resolution

Hi all, Does anybody know the resolution of the TT2 built-in touch screen please? In case it matters, it was built mid 2019. I can't get to my console due to lockdown and am trying to lay out handles so I will be able to read them when I get back! Also, does anyone know if we're anywhere nearer to b...

Re: Effects which add (build) or subtract

Thanks for that suggestion.

I had looked at the possibility of modifying the shapes.xml file but didn't want to run into problems when Avolites updated the file themselves. However, just looking at the file is a good way of understanding what all the shapes do.

Effects which add (build) or subtract

Hi all, Am I correct in thinking that the only way to create an effect which adds/subtracts to/from (i.e. modulates) existing attribute values is to use Shapes? I can't find a way to do this using Keyframe Shapes or 'simple' Cues which appear to be limited to LTP or HTP. I tend to busk using faders ...

Re: Only one visualiser universe on PC?

Wow! That is so good to know!

I had no idea that the Titan Go in the simulator was different to the Tiger Go I could access via the Start menu.

Thank you,

Andy :-)

Re: Only one visualiser universe on PC?

Cheers. It didn't occur to me to try that. It now works perfectly.

I much prefer the GUI of Titan Go rather than Titan Simulator, which doesn't appear to simulate the TT2 panel.

Thanks again,

Andy

Only one visualiser universe on PC?

Re Titan V14.0 on TT2, desktop and laptop (latter two with Editor AvoKey). On TT2, visualiser works fine on all universes. On desktop/laptop universe 1 works fine. Other universes: 1. Show selection of fixtures. 2. Do not allow control of fixtures. 3. Do not produce light, unless they were on when s...
