Is it possible to use the pixel mapper with fixtures that have colour wheels? And if yes, combined with RGB fixtures?
I am experimenting with colour bumps and just find the macro solution a bit too cumbersome.
Or maybe there is now another faster way of making a color bump?

Assuming you are talking about Titan personalities: yes that's well possible. Actually it is rather standard for many spot fixtures where gobos function likewise.
