Re: Titan One > Avolites Arena
If you have the right building infrastructure you can also network in from Simulator to your console. Assuming they're on the same network just open Simulator for say T1 or Mobile and go to Disk->Sessions->View Network Sessions and you should be able to view and edit the show on the Arena.

Re: playback/cue user number
Not at the moment. There isn't really a 'selected' state for playbacks. What activity are you doing where you'd like to refer to the playback by number?

Re: Titan issues
Best thing to do with this kind of problem is to email Avolites and attach the problem show files. They should be able to investigate for you.

Re: Fixture exchange+find fiture
What version of software are you using? There were some issues in this area that were fixed in 10.1.

Re: Networking Test
A PC (Titan One v.10.1) B PC (Titan One v.10 Simulator) Just in case this isn't a typo you can normally* only network together the exact same version of Titan. 10 and 10.1 won't work properly together. *There were a few historic exceptions for some hardware-revision versions like 9.3 but that's the...

Re: Pixel mapper - can't access layout editor window
The most common cause of slowness in V10.1 is running on a system without an SSD. V10 onward requires an SSD as it saves everything you do as you go along for undo.

Re: bpm tap tempo averaging algorithm ?
I believe it averages out using a rolling window of something like three intervals (ie 4 taps) if you keep tapping the 3 most recent intervals are used.
If there's an interval that's more than a few seconds or significantly longer than the current rate it starts a new group.

Just looking at the API docs I would expect that to work. I'll have a look at it tonight and see if I can get it to work.

Re: Clear programmer with fade?
Also, (depending on what Clear Options you have set) you might want to do 5 RELEASE CLEAR to force the programmer to release to any playbacks you have live.
The Release without Home setting is particularly useful in this case because the lights will only go back if there is a playback to go to.

Yeah but you'll notice Avolites don't make the Expert anymore. My guess would be support for it will be less and less in future software updates. The Arena has plenty of faders

Re: Upgrade to the Pro version possibility
Having said that, the Expert design is getting pretty old now, you might find you get a better Titan experience in the long run upgrading to a Tiger Touch II or an Arena. They have the screen and the button layout that make a lot more sense with the latest software.

Re: Arena DMX in from catalyst to control fixtures on desk
Short answer is no.
The longer answer is you may be able to merge the DMX using an ArtNet node if you have one that supports per-channel merge.

Re: Putting all locate values into programmer
Yes, that's a special special case, that fixture is considered to be recorded not merged because it's completely new. You can can try this by touching just pan on a new fixture and merging it in. You'll find it adds the whole fixture not just the pan which would be odd for a new fixture.
