Thanks again for the reply.
I don't think I want to risk going with an HTP color attribute. I"m just going to use the normal RGBW color mixing and forget about the color wheel. Seems like it will be more trouble than it's worth.
Thanks!

Re: LED Color Wheel
Thanks for the reply. Just to test I changed the Color wheel to HTP and left the rest of the attributes at LTP. It seems to be working properly now. I can create palettes using the color wheel attribute and then when I press Clear they go off. My question is having this setting to HTP going to come ...

LED Color Wheel
So I have some basic generic 12x12w LED Wash fixtures that I'm having an issue with. I'm using a 2008 Pearl Tiger so I'm working with the R20 files and the personality builder app. The fixture has a simulated color wheel with a bunch of preset colors. This isn't anything new, I actually have a diffe...

Re: Pearl Classic: Personality Builder Split Dimmer/Shutter
Nic,
That will work for me. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something in Personality Builder when trying to accomplish this.
As, always, thanks for the reply.

Pearl Classic: Personality Builder Split Dimmer/Shutter
So I have a generic LED fixture that has a split dimmer/shutter. The first 127 values of the channel is for the dimmer with the remaining 127 being for the shutter. But I don't know how to split the channel up into proper functions in the Pearl Personality Builder for the Classic 2008 software. Righ...

Re: Classic Software: Recording Palettes to Chase?
Nevermind, I'm stupid. I just wasn't selecting the attribute that I wanted to save into the chase from the palette (in this case pan/tilt). When I select the attribute the chase works properly.

Classic Software: Recording Palettes to Chase?
I feel like I have to be forgetting something here that I should know, but I searched the forums and didn't find a direct answer. I'm using the Classic 2008 software. I have a few positions palettes saved, I wanted to create a chase using some of the position palettes but when I do nothing plays bac...

Re: Pearl Personality Builder: Locate values
Thanks for the info!
Really glad to see that there is still some help and support for the older consoles. It's really a testament to the quality of Avo products that we can still use them so long after their prime.
Thanks again.

Re: Pearl Personality Builder: Locate values
Thanks for the reply.
I'm using a Pearl Tiger, so it has the Classic software. But I've been editing and using the .R20 files because I thought that was what you had to do for the classic software.
So I should be saving the files as D4 and then just generating the R20 files onto the flash drive?

Pearl Personality Builder: Locate values
I've been spending a lot of time in the Personality Builder software working with R20 files, and there is one thing that I keep running into that is giving me problems. I have been editing a lot of the Locate and Power attribute settings so that all of the moving fixtures I'm using go to a similar &...

Thanks so much for the reply!
It's a relief to at least know that I'm not doing something wrong, or that my console isn't messed up that regard.
I like the idea of a home palette, so I may go that route.

Pearl Classic:
I'm using a Pearl Tiger running the classic 2008 software and just wanted to ask about something that I've been wondering about. I'm coming from using a Strand Palette console for a while, so I've got used to the way that console handles the CLEAR function. On the Strand console, when you hit Clear,...

Re: Pearl Tiger with Midi Faders?
I see, well that's a bummer.
I have reached out to US sales and I'm waiting for a response, but I think I've asked this before a while back when I first used the Pearl Tiger.
I've been keeping my eye open for one on the used market, but haven't seen anything in a while.
