I am starting out with fly in shows in February and I'm slightly over 10kg with my set up too. I am wondering if I got a TM and TMW hired in from the venues will my software work with their mobile on my laptop? Have you ever done this ever?

Basically, when installing a new console, (for me, the Titan Mobile) to a new license on your laptop, the first thing you need to do is enable the DMX lines so their outputs connect/talk to your fixtures.

Hi there, sorry for the confusion..! I just figured it out, in the manual I realised I hadn't the 4 DMX lines assigned to my laptop so the outputs were disabled. It is now working and I can get started with the fun bit.
