Re: Titan One in a VM?

Hi Yoshi, I'm totally guessing here, but I'd say the dongles were being reverse engineered using a similar method and, as a result, Titan has been designed to not start when it detects certain environment variables that indicate it's running in a VM. I could not even get the Simulator (no dongle req...

Re: Changelog and version history?

Thanks Nic, The specific issue I'm having is as follows: Show console (TTII) on Titan 10.1 (for now). Builder 3.1 on laptop. Also testing on 11.1 simulator. Make a personality from scratch as per the method outlined in my YouTube tutorial. In the wheel assignment page, if I intentionally leave a whe...

Changelog and version history?

I notice we're now up to v3.1 after not using the software for a while, but I can't find any info about the releases. Any chance of a sticky with the version history/ changelog? I'm experiencing some wheel assignment bugs that I don't remember ever having before, and now I don't have access to the o...

Re: Titan One in a VM?

Thanks for the info. I'm not trying to run it on a Mac, I want to run it on a proper bare metal VM in a venue which has almost every other production machine running in a VM. Basically, we don't want to run a separate machine just for one application. It's a shame, because we have 2 tiger touches an...

Re: Titan One in a VM?

Not that I don't believe you, but I've got a lot of software running in a VM that everyone says doesn't run in a VM, so I intend to try anyway :)

Hardware passthrough on bare metal hypervisor has come a long way.

Titan One in a VM?

I'm about to try to make a VMware virtual machine with the intent of running Titan One, that will run on vSphere (dell blades) and was wondering if anybody else has already done it? I/d like to use ARTnet. The dongle will just be a dongle, not an output. The USB port/ dongle is about the only thing ...

Re: YouTube - Personality Builder Tutorials

Glad you found the tutorials useful.

To be clear those tutorials were made by me, and I don't work for Avolites, and sure as anything Nic knows a hell of a lot more about this than me, so much better to listen to him :)

Re: YouTube - Personality Builder Tutorials

Thank you kindly for those answers. So basically the visualizer requires you to get your hands dirty in the XML. Interesing that Cyan Magenta and Yellow are not recognised as standards (show me a fixture missing those filters)? When I get some time, I will take your advice and have a dig around in s...

Re: YouTube - Personality Builder Tutorials

Hi Nic. As I state in the video, I'm no expert, so I'm very happy to receive your comments!! I still have things to learn about the builder. I taught myself everything by loading up and analyzing existing personalities. The videos were meant to be more of an introduction to it, than a fully comprehe...

Recieved TT Pro Upgrade kit with no documentation.

I just received the upgrade kit, but it came with no documentation, and I have a couple of questions.

Where does the new dongle board mount to? Is there an intended spot?

Where is the small 3 pin header coming from the motherboard top right supposed to connect to?

Re: 8.0 Update Fail

I had this error:

It turned out to be a faulty SATA cable. Replaced it and was back up and running again
