Didn't have time to check it out on Sunday, but I'm going in tomorrow and I'll do it then.
Thanks,
Bryan

Re: Titan Mobile and Other Avolites Boards
I'll be there on Sunday and I'll check it out. As for the MIDI triggering, we may do some from a MIDI keyboard in the future. Nice to know what I can do with the Azure, too. Now I know I can trigger one or the other, or both. It gives me more universes as well.
Thanks again,
Bryan

Re: Titan Mobile and Other Avolites Boards
As for the Azure 2000, it can be triggered by MIDI and remote-controlled by RS232 through the MIDI Connection (with the MIDI-to-RS232 cable). So, couldn't I control both boards through MIDI and/or remote RS232 commands? Ideally, I'd like to be able to select a cue on TM and be able to fire the cue o...

Re: Titan Mobile and Other Avolites Boards
I've finally got the chance to hook all the Hamsters up and test them (I had to wait until the previous sermon series was over). I did a quick test when I first got the new personality and thought it was working, but when I had time to really test them, I soon found out there were still some problem...

Re: Titan Mobile and Other Avolites Boards
Darn. That would have been great. But, can the TM be triggered by the Azure? The Stage Ape Hamsters still don't work quite right on the TM, but worked perfectly with the Azure 2000. I'm considering the use of both boards and how I might connect and configure them.
Thanks,
Bryan

Re: User Views Will Not Save
I was able to save six User Views and also view them in Titan Mobile Simulator. And when I selected Auto Update, closed and reopened the theater, lights appeared. I will soon find out if they are the right lights. I don't know what's up with that other file, but I rebuilt the theater piece-by-piece,...

Titan Mobile and Other Avolites Boards
I've seen in the manual that Titan Mobile can be "triggered" with DMX from other sources, and use other Titan consoles as back-ups. But I've seen nothing on Titan Mobile acting as a trigger. Can the Titan Mobile trigger cues, etc. on other Avolites boards; the Azure 2000 to be precise? Tha...

Re: User Views Will Not Save
I just rebuilt my theater (on my other computer), and I found that I can save User Views at least on the left side. On the right side, I have to change the depth (upward) and I think that is the problem, but I want to understand why it's doing that so I can work with it. When I add a view from the r...

Re: Titan Mobile and Media Servers
That sounds viable to me. As for the Visualiser, if I do as you say, with a separate laptop, with a VGA output split for both projectors, wouldn't I still be able to run an external display via usb on the Titan machine and Visualiser through that?

That's okay. If you could forward it on to him, I would appreciate it.

Re: Titan Mobile and Media Servers
Okay, cool. That's where I was heading from the beginning. As I said before, we are on a Sony Vaio touchscreen with Windows 8. The only outputs it has (sadly) are usb and ethernet. I guess I can connect a projector through ethernet. Windows only supports two displays, so my main display would have t...

Re: User Views Will Not Save
Nic,
The values are about the same, but it's almost inside out at those values. If I raise the depth value to around 2000, I get it back to a cube. I'll send you the file and you can see what I mean.
Thanks,
Bryan

Re: Titan Mobile and Media Servers
Okay, I'm with you so far (mostly). Now, when you select Play, it must be displayed on something . What kind of displays will it work with, LED screens, other LED fixtures thru the pixel-mapper function, moving projectors? Or is there a way to output the clip to regular (or HD) projectors? Thanks ag...

Re: Titan Mobile and Media Servers
Okay, then I guess I'm asking what advantage is using a media server over just a pc, assuming it's on a wired network? And then how would Titan use it? If the software is not on the same machine, does Titan "trigger" the file to play on another computer thru, say, Screen Monkey? I'm not cl...

Re: Titan Mobile and Media Servers
So, it wouldn't work over ethernet either? I guess I'm confused about just how dmx is involved in the process. I'm used to the idea of video being sent yo a projector across ethernet and I would associate ArtNet in that manner, with a device's address being it's ip address on the network and, thus, ...
