no it was the battery

After preforming wip all with a 1221 on LED display, then tried to reload the AVO, after move the jumper to the AVO load postion, no reponse then loud elposion of the battery after 5 mins,, any comments of thoery ofexplosion,, and yes the power supply was set at the correct voltage.
