Re: Conect pearl Expert to visualizer

Apologies for not replying sooner. The usual way to connect to an external visualiser is via Art-Net or sACN which you can configure in the DMX Settings window in System . Most visualisation software should have an option to receive at least Art-Net. If you are using newer versions of Capture and th...

Re: Titan one simulator version 11.3

It is not possible to expand the number of universes that can be output with a TitanOne (although you could use a DMX buffer/splitter to send the same DMX down two lines). If you require more DMX universes you could upgrade to a Titan Mobile which allows up to 16 universes over Art-Net or sACN (and ...

Re: Park patched fixtures macro

Sebastian asked me about a macro to park the currently selected fixtures and this is what I came up with: <macro id="Avolites.Macros.ParkSelectedFixtures" name="Park Selected Fixtures"> <description>Parks the currently selected fixtures.</description> <sequence> <step>Programmer....

Re: TitanOne (simulator) and Capture 2019 connection

If both Titan and Capture are on the same machine you may want to try using sACN or installing a virtual loopback adapter on your computer. Generally when broadcasting to a network, packets are not sent to the computer they were sent from.

Re: fixture order not linking

Playbacks, specifically the cue data within them, do not link to groups and therefore will not update in any way when you change the group. The order in the playback is initially based on the selection order in the programmer which in turn may be based on the order of selected groups however once th...

Re: Shape Color Effect (with no mixing color)

The Red shape and other similar shapes in the Shape Generator menu are relative and only change the specified attribute, so in this case the Red attribute will go up and down however the Blue and Green channels will remain unaffected. Possible alternatives are to use a pixel map effect with a transp...

Re: Titan One

The TitanOne only outputs one universe and that will be Line 1 as patched in the software. You can load shows, i.e. from other Titan consoles, which contain more lines or patch fixtures to other lines but you will not be able to output any DMX from those additional lines with a TitanOne. If you are ...

Re: PC Suite no localhost

When not working with multi-user the Session Connection Failed indicates that the Titan engine application is no longer running properly. The Titan engine application should be visible in the taskbar with a red T icon, if it is not there this may mean that an error has occurred which has stopped it ...

Re: Pioneer DJ Link

The is no exact date for this however it is still expected later this year, probably in the autumn. Exactly what features will appear have not yet been decided but I would expect it to include the BPM master functions from the previous DJ Tap iteration. Using it as another timecode source would seem...

Re: Tiger Touch restarted to windows desktop

Puzzling, the licence is for the Titan software itself and should not affect the operating system at all. Do you have any further information about what they were doing prior to the problem? Did they open Folders (Window Explorer) or change any settings? What recovery version did they run and if dif...

Re: Touch Attribute

If the fixtures are already selected and the correct attribute bank is selected you could do something like this: Programmer.Editor.Fixtures.SetContextAttributeFromWheelIndex(1) Programmer.Editor.Fixtures.TouchSelectedControls() A more reliable way for certain attributes would be to use the attribut...

Re: LTP for dimmer?

The Cross Fade HTP in Playback Options should effect all the fixtures recorded in that playback unlike Mode 3 which will effect all patched fixtures. If you want more fine grain control you can specify Cross Fade HTP in the @ menu for specific Dimmer channels (and turn off the playback option).

Re: LTP for dimmer?

Probably the easiest way would be to record the dimmer shape as a key frame shape as these are absolute instead of relative (to the underlying value). Alternatively if you want to force the second playback to override even if the first playback is re-fired you could set it to a higher priority.
