That's absolutely true. But maybe there should be an option where you can turn on or off if you want the skipped cues to run or not.
I'm also sure that this is not really good for some movinglights when they get like for example 20 colorchanges in 0,5 seconds.

MIDI - problem on Pearl 2004
Hi, I'm running a show on midi-timecode on a pearl 2004. The timecode is coming from a harddisk. Just recently the band skipped a song from the set for some reason, so the harddisk skipped a few minutes. I assumed my desk would do the same and go directly to the new time wich it got from the harddis...
