Re: Moving edge pixelmapper

Apologies. I rushed that and didn't read it properly before. There are probably a number of ways of going about this but my solution is along the lines of my first suggestion (ie. still a single horizontal line) but with a group containing just the cells involved. There are also a number of ways of ...

Re: Moving edge pixelmapper

Create a layout with all of the strips in a single horizontal line in the correct order and then apply an element with an animation running left->right.

Re: Excluding a set of fixtures from a swop

The programmer should still take priority unless the playback priority is set to 'Very High'. However, I do agree it would be useful to have a separate option if for no other reason than to make it simpler. This would probably also raise the question whether there should be a separate 'exclude from ...

Re: Excluding a set of fixtures from a swop

Everything sounds correct and this works when I test. Note that if the house light playback is active when you change the priority you need to kill and refire before it obeys the new priority.

Re: Playback Modes

You could try two step cuelists set to fire first cue and manual crossfade where the first cue contains just one colour component at full and the second cue at zero.

Re: difference in behaviour between preset palette and self-created palette

It sounds like your palettes don't contain all of the controls. If you are quick recording the palettes by double-tapping on an empty handle in the Colours window by default the record mode is set to 'Mixed' which will record the current value for all colour controls, regardless of whether they are ...

MIDI is not enabled on the T1. For MIDI you need a T2 or above.

Re: pixel mapper layout

Another option might be to use the rotation control. If you toggle the Layout Editor context menu option to 'Wheels Rotate Selection' you can flip an entire selection using the Rotation contol by rotating it 180°. For example if you select and rotate 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 by 180° it will become 8 7 6 5 4 ...

Re: Set only the dimmer on a fader

Make sure only the dimmer information is in the programmer - for example CLEAR -> Select fixture(s) -> @@ (assuming you want them at full intensity). Then when recording toggle the mode to 'Channel' (Softkey A in the Record menu). This will record only controls in the programmer (ie. value is highli...

Re: Executor buttons

For triggering intensity cues perhaps try using the Flash action if you haven't already. Not quite sure what you mean by 'only when the fader is up' - if the fader is up the intensity is already active and triggering would make no difference. However, if you are trying to find a way to set which fix...

Re: Executor buttons

You can use a 2-step cuelist to do this as Sebastian suggested above. Alternatively Sebastian has written a toggle macro which is included in the link that Alex provided in response to your question. I guess the advantage of the 2-step cuelist that referenced specific enable/disable macros would be ...

Re: TT2 v12 / B-Eye K10 weirdness.

This doesn't sound like a DMX settings/hardware thing to me. A slightly different test idea along the same lines to try and narrow things down: Patch 1x B-EYE K10 in 35 channel mode to Line 1 001 Connect 1x fixture with matching mode/address Locate/check responds normally Assuming it does patch 35x ...

Re: TT2 v12 / B-Eye K10 weirdness.

My gut feeling is there is some sort of address mismatch/conflict. I wonder if one of the pixel engine modes is enabled in the first (or possibly all) of the fixtures and addressed somewhere in the same range as the 6th fixture?
