Instead of using a stack, use a chase. Unlink it. Unfold and you can alter the times between steps via 'edit times' and then use the GO button to trigger the step. This is a much easier way to edit and play back your scences while leaving more playbacks for overides. Therefore, pretty quickly, you c...

D4 Pilot
Going to be setting this up ( the Pilot that is) as a back up to the main desk. Any one have any advice or spotted bugs in it's installation? Thanks, Iain

To be honest....
...I always thought the language was Swedish. Although the constant prodding seemed to make the problem go away. Also changed the disk drives in a couple, for some reason that seemed to have some bearing on the problem.

Must ride flat!
Yepper, me too! Try reseating the video card and make sure all the other chips are also seated properly. Then always transport the desk flat. This seems to have cured those problems with our Pearls, Iain

Mmmh
Have you ever been in the empty arena at 4am, programing for 14 hours, hit 103, recall pallette and nothing happens. You say to yourself, 'oh dear, dash it. I wonder why that didn't work.' Then you realise it's because dimmer isn't selected. That is my question. Can the software be manipulated to ig...

I know that...
....my question was, would it be possible when using the keypad, to overide that and be able to recall a numbered pallatte regardless of it's attribute, and without having to check and make sure that Dimmer is selected. The Sapphire doesn't seem to mind where it's at.

Software question
Would it be possiable to write a change in the software for the Pearl to allow pallettes to be recalled via the keypad without having to remember to select the Dimmer parameter. Or have I missed a vital sentance in the manuel! Just a question to help eliminate one more keystroke. Iain

Been thinking about this. Why? Modifications are extremley common...most of us who sit behind the board took the long road there...don't see to too much of a problem to make it work in the near future....bit of solder(lead free of course), couple of jumpers....c'mon guys the metal work is there, reg...

Floppy Disks
I work out of Toronto, Canada and it is becoming increasingly difficult to buy floppy disks. Future Shop is just selling off what they have in stock, not all the Depot's and G & T's carry them. Er.... how's that USB-Flash drive thing coming along? Iain

include function
Have you gentlemen managed to fix the bug with the include button? Sometimes it gets a bit old to switch to blind mode and have to concentrate a bit more than usual. Nice software though, works good. Iain
