Strange, I sent it to erkamal@hotmail.com. Oh well, I resent it. Maybe hotmail doesn't like attachments bearing a .r20 extension.

The best way to do it is the UNFOLD functionality. Use it in program mode. Press the UNFOLD-button (one of the blue buttons), then press the playback SWOP-button of your chase. Now every fader represents a step of your chase (or cue-list if you prefer). Set up the required look. Press the softbutton...

[Scrapped the nonsense part] For those who want an alternate SG.DAT file with patterns to be selected instead of shapes (like "Pan sine", "tilt sine"), there you go. http://users.telenet.be/boulezlaan/sg_dat_file/pearl/sg.dat Mind you that the file is loaded in reversed order whe...

As far as I understand the table will now define the values for dmx channel 30. What throws me, is that my fix does not have 30 channels???
This is a typo. The value should be "13" instead of "30".

Oh well, here we go again with the SG.DAT file. My findings: 1. Patterns: Positive amplitude is from 0 to 127 decimal. That is 0 to 80 Hexadecimal 2. Patterns: Negative amplitude is from 65535 to 65408. That is FFFF to FF80. 3. Patterns: Make sure to to have a number of steps equal to a factor of 8....

What we need is a unit with infinite pan. I wish someone would try developing this - ideally a very shallow base with all motors & control contained in the yoke. Power transmission through tracks (ballast could be remote if necessary) and wireless data. Introduces some control issues ie. you wo...

Okay, let's try some things: 1. Have you performed the "extended memory test"? 2. Did you look at the bus errors? If they are there, clear them. 3. Do you use a custom SG.DAT file? I have seen that if you have a tiny mistake on it, the show gets corrupted over time. 4. Use the softbutton "Optimize m...

1.) In operate mode, I am unable to change playback pages. I need to switch to program mode to do so. The playback page I attempt to switch to will have a red square around its name. That is because you have your fader and button pages separate. You can change the fader page by holding the SHIFT-bu...

I have been playing with a Sapphire 2000 with the latest software in it yesterday. All I can say is that the desk is dead slow when changing playback pages. It takes about a second a page. So when scrolling fast through pages it can take a while (except if you use the "Select Page" functionality). F...

All right, I have checked it on the Simulator, and I can carry on living :D

The setting is on softbutton "F" in the Shape Generator Menu.

So I'm confused. One should expect that the Avolites crew knows their software from the head. Or am I the freak now?

WTF? You can't change the direction of your shape?

Of course you can! Simply push the softbutton "change direction" in the Shape Generator upon selecting your second set of heads. I am dead sure you can change it.
